Lionsgate today announced that the world premiere of La La Land in Concert: A Live-to-Film Celebration will take place at the Hollywood Bowl on Memorial Day weekend Friday, May 26 and Saturday, May 27.  Composer Justin Hurwitz will conduct his Academy Award-winning score for Damien Chazelle’s hit film musical and song City of Stars (with lyrics by Benj Pasek &Justin Paul) performed live-to-film by a 100-piece symphony orchestra, choir, and Jazz ensemble, accompanying the film’s original vocal recordings.  Tickets will go on sale on Friday, March 10 at 12:00pm PST at Ticketmaster and the Hollywood Bowl box office. Doors will open at 6:30pm with the show beginning at 8:00pm. Following its world premiere, the concert will debut in select locations across the globe including the UK, Canada, Mexico, Italy, Turkey, and Switzerland, with additional locations to be announced. In the U.S., select cities include Atlanta, Seattle, Portland, San Diego, San Antonio, Dallas, Indianapolis, Nashville, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Denver and Washington, D.C., with additional cities to be announced.
