TF1 has released a soundtrack album for the adventure drama The Odyssey (L’odyssée). The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Alexandre Desplat (The Grand Budapest Hotel, The King’s Speech, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Godzilla, Argo). Also included are songs by Otis Redding, James Brown, The Mamas & The Papas, The Guess Who & more. The soundtrack is now available digitally and physically overseas. The movie tells the story of famous French naval officer and filmmaker Jacques Cousteau. The drama was released in French theaters last week. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
