Son Lux aka Ryan Lott has recently composed the original music for the upcoming crime thriller Mean Dreams. The film is directed by Nathan Morlando (Citizen Gangster) and stars Josh Wiggins, Sophie Nélisse, Bill Paxton and Colm Feore. The movie follows a 15-year-old boy who steals a bag of drug money and runs away with the girl he loves while her violent and corrupt cop father hunts them down. Kevin Coughlin and Ryan Grassby have written the screenplay. William Woods and Allison Black are producing the project. Son Lux’s previous scoring credits include The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby and Paper Towns. Mean Dreams will premiere this month at Cannes Film Festival’s Directors’ Fortnight.
