Federation Entertainment will release a soundtrack album for the Netflix original series Marseille. The album features the show’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Alexandre Desplat (The Grand Budapest Hotel, Godzilla, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, The King’s Speech) and Jean-Pasccal Beintus (United Passions). Also included is the song Ya Sidi by Orange Blossom. The soundtrack will be released digitally on May 6, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also check out audio clips. Marseille is created by Dan Franck and stars Gérard Depardieu, Benoît Magimel, Géraldine Pailhas, Nadia Farès, Gérard Meylan, Nassim Si Ahmed, Antoine Coesens, Nozha Khouadra and Maruschka Detmers. The political drama directed by Florentine-Emilio Siri & Thomas Gilou centers around the city election between the long-time mayor Robert Taro and a younger ambitious candidate.
The 8-part series will premiere globally this Thursday, May 5 on Netflix.
