Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the critically acclaimed USA original series Mr. Robot. The album will feature selections from the Golden Globe-nominated show’s original music composed by Mac Quayle (American Horror Story: Freak Show & Hotel, Scream Queens). The soundtrack is set to be released in the summer of 2016 before the drama’s second season premiere. As previously reported, a soundtrack was originally planned for a release to coincide with the show’s home video release in January. The full details of the album will be posted on this page as they are announced. Mr. Robot is created by Sam Esmail and stars Rami Malek, Christian Slater, Portia Doubleday, Martin Wallstrom and Carly Chaikin. The series follows a young programmer who finds himself at a crossroads when the mysterious leader of an underground hacker group recruits him to destroy the firm he is paid to protect. The show’s first season premiered this past summer on USA and will be released on January 12, 2016 on Blu-ray and DVD. Visit the official show website for updates.
