Trevor Morris has signed on to score the upcoming comedy sequel Goon: Last of the Enforcers. The film is directed by Jay Baruchel and stars Seann William Scott, Liev Schreiber, Baruchel himself, Marc-André Grondin, Kim Coates and Alison Pill who are reprising their roles from the original movie. They are joined by Wyatt Russell and Elisha Cuthbert. Baruchel has also co-written the screenplay with Jesse Chabot. David Gross (Room, What If), Jesse Shapira, and Jeff Arkuss are producing the project for No Trace Camping, alongside André Rouleau (Delivery Man, An American Haunting) for Caramel Films. The 2011 original film was scored by Ramachandra Borcar. Goon: Last of the Enforcers is currently in post-production and will be released in 2016.
Morris’ upcoming projects also include the action thriller London Has Fallen starring Gerard Butler, Aaron Eckhart & Morgan Freeman, which is set to be released on March 4, 2016. The composer also continues to score History’s Vikings and The CW’s Reign.
