Michl Britsch is composing the score for the upcoming horror comedy Trash Fire. The film is written and directed by Richard Bates Jr. (Excision) and stars Adrian Grenier, Angela Trimbur, Fionnula Flanagan, AnnaLynne McCord, Matthew Gray Gubler, Sally Kirkland, Ray Santiago, Ezra Buzzington and Molly McCool. The movie follows a man who is forced to confront his past when he and his girlfriend end up entangled in a web of lies, deceit and murder. David Lawson Jr. (Spring), Lawrence Mattis (Saint John of Las Vegas, Mr. Right), Matt Smith and Makan Delrahim are producing the project. Britsch has previously scored Bates Jr.’s last feature, Suburban Gothic. The composer’s other previous scoring credits include Pandorum starring Dennis Quaid & Ben Foster, Case 39 starring Renee Zellweger and the German hit thriller Antibodies. Trash Fire is set to premiere in January at the Sundance Film Festival.
