L’R Du Tresor will release a soundtrack album for the French drama Cowboys (Les Cowboys). The album features the film’s original music composed by singer/songwriter Raphaël (aka Raphaël Haroche). Also included are songs by Connie Francis and Patsy Cline. The soundtrack will be released digitally overseas on November 20, 2015. Visit Amazon for the full album details and audio samples. Cowboys is co-written and directed by Thomas Bidegain (screenwriter of A Prophet & Rust and Bone) and stars Francois Damiens, Finnegan Oldfield, Agathe Dronne, Ellora Torchia, John C. Reilly, Antonia Campbell-Hughes. The movie follows a French Wild West enthusiast who sets off on a journey to find his estranged daughter, who has run away and converted to Islam. The drama premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival and will be released in France on November 25. Cohen Media Group has picked domestic distribution rights and is planning a release in the second quarter of 2016.
