The details of the soundtrack album for the comedy drama St. Vincent have been revealed. The album features the songs from the film, including two new songs by Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy. Also included are songs by Jefferson Airplane, Bob Dylan, The National, JD and the Straight Shoot, Nyzzy Nyce, Brewer & Shipley, Bronze Radio Return, Fingazz & Ca$hizz Klay and Vechyaslav Samarin. The soundtrack will be released on October 27, 2014 by Sony Masterworks and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Audio clips can be checked out after the jump. As previously reported, the label will also release a separate soundtrack featuring the film’s original score composed by Theodore Shapiro. St. Vincent written and directed by Theodore Melfi and starring Bill Murray, Melissa McCarthy, Naomi Watts, Terrence Howard, Chris O’Dowd and Scott Adsit will be released in select cities on October 10 by the Weinstein Company before expanding nationwide over the following of weeks.
