Intrada Records has announced the world premiere CD release of the soundtrack for the 1975 drama Jaqueline Susann’s Once Is Not Enough directed by Guy Green and starring Kirk Douglas, Deborah Raffin, David Janssen, Alexis Smith, George Hamilton, Melina Mercouri and Brenda Vaccaro. The album features the original music from the Paramount Pictures production composed and conducted by Henry Mancini (The Pink Panther, Breakfast at Tiffany’s). Also included are a number of bonus tracks, including alternates of the opening scene and end credit music, unused vocal version of theme performed by Jerry Wright and more. The label has also announced the world premiere CD release of the soundtrack for the 1965 thriller The Spy Who Came in for the Cold directed by Martin Ritt based on a novel by John Le Carre and starring Richard Burton, Claire Bloom, Oskar Werner and Sam Wanamaker. The film’s original music is composed by Sol Kaplan (Niagara). The album features the original 1965 score album recording, as well as the actual soundtrack performances recorded one month earlier in London.
