Sony Music has released a soundtrack album for Jean-Pierre Jeunet’s 3D family adventure The Young and Prodigious T.S. Spivet (El extraordinario viaje de T.S. Spive). The album features the film’s original music composed by Denis Sanacore. The soundtrack is now available both digitally and physically in France. Visit the French Amazon store to listen to audio clips. No domestic release has been announced yet. The Young and Prodigious T.S. Spivet is co-written and directed by Jeunet (Amelie, Alien: Resurrection, Delicatessen) is based on the novel by Reif Larsen and stars Helena Bonham Carter, Kyle Catlett and Judy Davis. The movie follows a 12-year-old boy with extraordinary skills who leaves his family in Montana and takes off on a cross-country adventure to the Smithsonian Museum in Washington, D.C. to receive a prize. The movie will be released in France this Wednesday, October 16. The Weinstein Company has picked up domestic rights for the film and is targeting a release in 2014.
