Sony Music will release a soundtrack album for the comedy drama biopic One Chance. The album includes numerous arias from the film performed by opera star Paul Potts. Also featured is Taylor Swift’s song Sweeter Than Fiction. The soundtrack will be released in the UK on October 21, 2013. No word yet on a domestic release date. One Chance is directed by David Frankel (The Devil Wears Prada) and stars James Corden, Julie Walters, Mackenzie Crook, Colm Meaney, Jemima Rooper and Alexandra Roach. The movie tells the true story of Paul Potts, a shy, bullied shop assistant by day and an amateur opera singer by night who became an instant YouTube phenomenon after being chosen by Simon Cowell for Britain’s Got Talent. The film premiered at last month’s Toronto Film Festival and will be released in select U.S. cities on December 27, 2013 by the Weinstein Company before expanding in early 2014.
