Marcus Trumpp has composed the score for the upcoming action thriller Endangered. The film is directed by David Hackl (Saw V) and stars James Marsden, Piper Perabo, Thomas Jane, Billy Bob Thornton, Scott Glenn, Adam Beach, Michaela McManus and Kelly Curran. The movie, which was originally entitled Red Machine, follows two estranged brothers who reconcile on a camping trip in Alaska and are attacked and relentlessly stalked by a horrifying grizzly bear. J.R. Reher has written the screenplay and Paul Schiff (Rushmore, My Cousin Vinny, Mona Lisa Smile), Tai Duncan (Tenure) and Hadeel Reda are producing the project for Indomitable Entertainment and Paul Schiff Productions. Trumpp’s best known previous film scoring credits include Mesrine: Killer Instinct and Mesrine: Killer Instinct #1, which he co-scored with Marco Beltrami. He has also written additional music and provided orchestrations for numerous scores composed by Beltrami including Live Free or Die Hard and Red Eye. Endangered has recently been picked up by Open Road Films is expected to be released later this year.
