Milan Records has released a soundtrack album for the French drama A Girl’s Story (Mémoire de fille). The album features the film’s original music composed by Faux Amis (Noé Boon & Richard Sears) (Icon of French Cinema). A Girl’s Story is written and directed by Judith Godrèche and stars Valerie Dreville, Tess Barthélemy, Ariane Labed, Anja Verderosa and Victor Bonn. The movie based on the book of the same title by Annie Ernaux revolves around a woman who is confronting memories of the sexual violence she experienced as a teenage summer-camp counsellor in 1958 that shaped the course of her life. The drama, which premiered in the Un Certain Regard section at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, is being released in French theaters today and has been picked up by Zeitgeist Films & Kino Lorber for a domestic release in early 2027.
