Amazon Content Services has released Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Rocky, a new EP featuring three tracks from the score for the 1976 classic composed by Academy Award winner Bill Conti (The Right Stuff, The Karate Kid, The Thomas Crown Affair, For Your Eyes Only, Masters of the Universe). The 3-track EP features the Rocky Medley, the “theme song” Gonna Fly Now (feat. lyrics by Carol Connors & Ayn Robbins) and Fanfare for Rocky and is now available to stream/download now on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to all three tracks after the jump. The release coincides with the 50th anniversary of the movie (directed by John G. Avildsen and starring Sylvester Stallone, Talia Shire, Burt Young, Carl Weathers & Burgess Meredith), which will return to theaters (remastered in 4K) on November 7, as well as Rocky in Concert, a live experience that will launch in Des Plaines, IL on October 28 before traveling to more than 20 U.S. markets this fall.
