Karim Sebastian Elias (Treasure Island, Cutting Through Rocks, Saudi Runaway, Kurdamm’ 63, Faruk, Of Fathers and Sons, Siegfried) has released a soundtrack album for the German historical sports drama The Rome Eight (Adams Acht). The album features the composer’s original music from the film and is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. The Rome Eight is directed by Hannu Salonen and stars Oliver Masucci, Felix Kammerer, Svenja Jung, Leonard Kunz, Katrin Röver, Heino Ferch, Stephanie Amarell, Axel Milberg, Nick Romeo Reimann and Vito Wiesner. The movie is set a divided post-war Germany and tells the true story of visionary coach who defies convention with radical training methods, transforming a group of misfits into an unstoppable rowing crew. The drama just opened in German theaters this past weekend. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
