Madison Gate Records will release a soundtrack album for the MGM+ original anthology series American Hostage. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Emmy Award nominee Robert Duncan (The Night Agent, Castle, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, S.W.A.T., The Unit, Last Resort, Terriers, Timeless, Missing, Lie to Me, The Equalizer). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, September 20. Check back on this page for the streaming/download link. American Hostage is created by Shawn Ryan & Eileen Myers based on the first season of the podcast of the same title and stars Jon Hamm, Giovanni Ribisi, Kristoffer Polaha, Mireille Enos, William Jackson Harper, Jonathan Tucker and Kat Cunning. The 8-part psychological thriller inspired by true events is set in the 1970s and tells the story of a radio reporter thrust into the middle of a life-or-death crisis when a hostage-taker demands to be interviewed live on his radio program. The series will premiere tomorrow exclusively on MGM+.
