Daniel Hart (The Green Knight, Interview with the Vampire/The Vampire Lestat, Pete’s Dragon, A Ghost Story, Mother Mary, The Old Man & the Gun, Peter Pan & Wendy, Ain’t Them Bodies Saints) has composed the original music for the upcoming gothic mystery drama Company. The film is directed by actor Casey Affleck and stars Nick Nolte, Ben Mendelsohn, Adelaide Clemens, Emily Alyn Lind, Scoot McNairy, Caylee Cowan, Atticus Affleck and Indiana Affleck. The movie follows a woman named who arrives uninvited at a holiday gathering on a winter night in 1975 and tells the story of an aging hermit who rescues a stranded actress during a Colorado blizzard more than 20 years earlier . Affleck also co-wrote the screenplay with Ron Hansen (The World to Come). He is also producing the project with Spooky Pictures’ Steven Schneider (Insidious, The Long Walk) and Roy Lee (It, Weapons), alongside Cowan, Dan Lawler, Sean Patrick O’Reilly (Locked, Playdate), K. Asher Levin (Save Me, Slayers), Enzo Marc (Iconoclast), Anthony Katagas (12 Years a Slave, Marty Supreme) and Siena Oberman (Dead Man’s Wire, Mainstream). Hart has previously scored Afffleck’s narrative feature directorial debut, Light of My Life. Company will premiere next month at the 2026 Venice Film Festival.
Hart is also expected to return to score the fourth season of AMC’s Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire, entitled Queen of the Damned.
