A24 Music has released a soundtrack album for the HBO original documentary series Monsters of God. The album features the show’s original music composed by Ari Balouzian (Primetime, Atropia, Some Kind of Heaven, Spermworld, The Giant, They Call Us Monsters). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s title track after the jump. Monsters of God is directed by Eric Goode and traces the evolution of the reptile trade as it skirts the Endangered Species Act of 1973 and grows into a secretive, high-stakes world of backroom dealings and fanatical collectors. The 5-parter features interviews with the major players, from traffickers to animal enthusiasts to federal agents, to unravels a web of characters who run a complex international crime ring. The series premiered earlier this month with new episodes dropping every Thursday on HBO and HBO Max.
