Arven Records has released a soundtrack album for the Turkish/Hungarian limited series El Turco. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Toygar Isikli (Family Secrets, Asaf, Son, Endless Love, As the Crow Flies, Babil). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s title track after the jump. El Turco is written by Kerem Deren & Çişil Hazal Tenim, directed by Uluç Bayraktar and stars Can Yaman, Will Kemp, Greta Ferro, Kieran O’Reilly, David Nykl, Veronica Ferres and Maddalena Aragão. The 6-part historical action adventure tells the story of a Janissary soldier in the aftermath of the Battle of Vienna who inds refuge in an Italian village and leads its people in resistance against tyranny and injustice.The series premiered overseas last year and made its U.S. debut this past June on Telemundo.
