Caldera Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1971 western Catlow directed by Sam Wanamaker and starring Yul Brynner, Richard Crenna, Leonard Nimoy, Jo Ann Pflug and Daliah Lavi. The album features first-ever release of the original film recording of the movie’s original score composed by Roy Budd (Get Carter, The Sea Wolves, The Wild Geese, Flight of the Doves, Kidnapped, Paper Tiger, Who Dares Wins). Selections of Budd’s compositions from the film have previously been released by different labels, most recently on a CD (which also includes selections of the composer’s music from Soldier Blue & Zeppelin) in 2012 from Silva Screen Records.
