Este Haim (of HAIM) (Maid, Voicemails for Isabelle, Do Revenge, Tow, You’re So Not Invited to My Bar Mitzvah) & Christopher Stracey (Cha Cha Real Smooth, Manodrome, Fingernails, Suncoast) have teamed up to score the upcoming romantic comedy One Night Only. The film is directed by Will Gluck (Peter Rabbit, Easy A) and stars Monica Barbaro, Callum Turner, Maya Hawke, Julia Fox, Ziwe, King Princess, Molly Ringwald, Ben Marshall and Levar Burton. The movie follows two love-starved strangers who crash into each other in an ever-so-slightly fictionalized New York City on the one night of the year when single people are allowed to have sex. Gluck also co-wrote the screenplay with Travis Braun (T.O.T.S.). He is also producing the project with Jacqueline Monetta for Olive Bridge Entertainment. Haim & Stracey have previously co-scored Gluck’s last feature, Anyone But You. One Night Only will be released in theaters nationwide on August 7, 2026 by Universal Pictures.
Haim’s other recent feature scoring projects include George Jaques’s Sunny Dancer (co-scored with Zachary Dawes), which premiered at this year’s Berlin Film Festival and will open in UK theaters on August 14.
