Dragon’s Domain Records has announced the world premiere release of two scores composed by Emmy Award winner Gerald Fried (Star Trek: The Original Series, Roots, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Mission: Impossible, Gilligan’s Island, Too Late the Hero). The titles include the 1961 mystery drama Twenty Plus Two directed by Joseph M. Newman and starring David Janssen, Jeanne Crain, Dina Merrill and William Demarest, as well as the 1961 movie A Cold Wind in August directed by Alexander Singer and starring Lola Albright, Scott Marlowe and Joe De Santis. Gerald Fried: Melodramas is now available to order as a limited edition CD on the label’s official website, where you can also check out audio samples and find out more about the soundtrack. A digital version is expected to be released in the coming months. Twenty Plus Two is now available on DVD.
