Back Office Artist Services has released a soundtrack album for the Hong Kong crime thriller Cold War 1994. The album features the film’s original music composed by Jolyon Cheung, Hanz Au & iii (aka Iris Liu). Cold War 1994 is written and directed by Longman Leung and stars Daniel Wu, Terrance Lau, Kang Ren Wu, Aidan Gillen, Hugh Bonneville, Chow Yun Fat, Louis Koo, Tony Leung Ka Fai, Aaron Kwok, Fish Liew and Louise Wong. The prequel to 2012’s Cold War and 2016’s Cold War 2 (both scored by Peter Kam) follows a righteous police superintendent who stumbles onto a high-profile kidnapping, accidentally triggering a massive political power struggle. The thriller was released in Hong Kong/Chinese and select U.S. theaters last month.
