Asian Express has released a soundtrack album for the Indonesian horror comedy Ghost in the Cell. The album features the film’s original score composed by Aghi Narottama. Also included are the original songs from the movie by Tony Merle. Ghost in the Cell is written and directed by Joko Anwar and stars Abimana Aryasatya, Endy Arfian, Bront Palarae, Morgan Oey, Danang Suryonegoro and Lukman Sardi. The comedy is set in a correctional facility and follows a group of inmates whose survival instincts are tested when a mysterious new prisoner arrives accompanied by a supernatural entity that targets those with the darkest aura. The movie, which premiered at this year’s Berlin Film Festival, opened in Indonesia last month and is set to be released in several other international markets over the next few weeks. No word yet on a domestic release.
