Many Hats Distribution will release a soundtrack album for the British prison drama Wasteman. The album features the film’s original music composed by Forest Swords (aka Matthew Barnes) (Stephen, As Dusk Falls). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 22. The streaming/download link will be added to this page within the next day. Wasteman is directed by Cal McMau and stars David Jonsson, Tom Blyth, Alex Hassell, Paul Hilton and Corin Silva. The movie is set within a claustrophobic UK prison and follows a mild-mannered inmate whose hopes for an early release are jeopardized when his charismatic but menacing new cellmate forces a choice between prison loyalty and freedom. The drama, which premiered at last year’s Toronto International Film Festival, opened in UK theaters this past February and has just been released in select U.S. theaters last Friday by Vertigo Releasing & Sunrise Films.
