Simon Goff (The Gold, Waves) has provided the original score for the upcoming British/German romantic comedy Virginia Woolf’s Night and Day. The film is directed by Tina Gharavi (I Am Nasrine) and stars Haley Bennett, Elyas M’Barek, Lily Allen, Jennifer Saunders, Jack Whitehall and Timothy Spall. The movie based on Virginia Woolf’s novel of the same title revolves around a passionate astronomer who does everything she can to avoid romantic love and marriage. Justine Waddell wrote the screenplay. She is also producing the project with Christopher Figg (Hellraiser, Dog Soldiers), Meg Thomson (Freud’s Last Session, Siren), Stephen Julius, Julie Link and Philip Steffens. Virginia Woolf’s Night and Day will premiere at this year’s SXSW London will be released in UK theaters on June 19, 2026 and in German theaters on July 9. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
