Opening in New York today before expanding to more U.S. markets in the coming weeks is the French drama The Stranger (L’étranger) written and directed by François Ozon and starring Benjamin Voisin, Rebecca Marder, Pierre Lottin, Denis Lavant and Swann Arlaud. Fatima Al Qadiri (Atlantics, Seeking Mavis Beacon, Skincare, The Grandmother) has composed the film’s original music. Milan Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last fall when the movie opened in France. The film’s original music is composed by Memo Guerra. Abstrakt Muzak has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last year.
