Pino Donaggio (Carrie, Body Double, Dressed to Kill, The Howling, Blow Out, Seed of Chucky) has recently scored the upcoming thriller Her Private Hell. The film is directed by Nicolas Winding Refn (Drive, The Neon Demon) and stars Sophie Thatcher, Charles Melton, Havana Rose Liu, Diego Calva, Kristine Froseth, Shioli Kutsuna, Aoi Yamada and Hidetoshi Nishijima. No plot details have been announced yet for the movie, which was shot and takes place in Tokyo. Refn also co-wrote the screenplay with Esti Giordani and is also producing the project. Her Private Hell is expected to premiere this May at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival and will be released in U.S. theaters by Neon.
Donaggio is also attached to score Andrea Corsini’s Beasts of Prey, which premiered at the Noir in Festival last December and is currently awaiting a release adte.
