Milan Records has released a soundtrack EP for the French comedy drama Whatever It Takes (Ceux qui comptent). The 5-track EP features the film’s original music composed by Fred Avril (The Lifeguard, Just the Three of Us, Mars Express, Pearl, I Am Not an Easy Man) and lead actor Pierre Lottin. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon (and any other major digital music services), where you can also check out the track list. Also listen to a track from the score below. Whatever It Takes is written and directed by Jean-Baptiste Leonetti and also stars Sandrine Kiberlain, Louise Labèque, Alexis Rosenstiehl and Alma Ngoc. The movie follows a stubborn single man in his thirties who has shut himself off from the world, when hen he meets and forms an unlikely relationship with a mother of three kids. The dramedy just opened in French theaters last Wednesday. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
