Rivertones has released a soundtrack for the documentary Underland. The album features the film’s original music composed by Hannah Peel (Rogue Agent, Insomnia, Midwinter Break, Bring Them Down, The Midwich Cuckoos, Scoop, Silent Roar, Game of Thrones: The Last Watch, The Deceived). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s first track (Into the Underland) after the jump. Underland is directed by Robert Petit, narrated by Sandra Hüller and produced by Darren Aronofsky. The movie is based on Robert Macfarlane’s bestselling book and follows a group of explorers as they venture into hidden worlds, from ancient caves and melting glaciers to abandoned mines and science laboratories. The documentary premiered at last year’s Tribeca Film Festival and is being released in select UK and Irish theaters today. Oscilloscope Laboratories has picked up domestic distribution rights for a release in the U.S. in the coming months.
