Milan Records has released a soundtrack album for the French historical drama Rays and Shadows (Les rayons et les ombres). The album features the film’s original music composed by Guillaume Roussel (The Three Musketeers: D’Artagnan & Milady, Black Beauty, Marie Antoinette, 3 Days to Kill, November, The Spy, Nero the Assasssin, Happy!, Dog 51). Rays and Shadows is directed by Xavier Giannoli and stars Jean Duajrdin, August Diehl, Anna Próchniak, Nastya Golubeva, Olivier Chantreau, Vincent Colombe and André Marcon. The movie tells the true story of journalist Jean Luchaire and his daughter Corinne as they face ethical and moral challenges during France’s occupation by Germany in World War II. The drama is opening in French theaters today. No word yet on a domestic release.
