Nathan Micay (Industry, The Copenhagen Test, Reality, The Last Bus, Sexy Beast,Time Bomb Y2K) has provided the original score for the upcoming Apple TV original series Margo’s Got Money Troubles. The show is developed by David E. Kelley (Ally McBeal, Big Little Lies) based on Rufi Thorpe’s bestselling novel of the same name and stars Elle Fanning, Michelle Pfeiffer, Nicole Kidman, Nick Offerman, Thaddea Graham, Marcia Gay Harden, Greg Kinnear, Rico Nasty, Michael Angarano and Lindsey Normington. The comedy drama revolves around a college dropout and aspiring writer as she’s forced to make her way with a new baby, a mounting pile of bills and a dwindling amount of ways to pay them. Kelley, Thorpe, Fanning, Kidman & Pfeiffer are also executive producing the A24 production with Dakota Fanning and Brittany Kahan Ward (The Great, The Girl from Plainville) for Lewellen Pictures, Per Saari (The Undoing, Nine Perfect Strangers) for Blossom Films, Matthew Tinker (Presumed Innocent, Love & Death), Eva Anderson and Boo Killebrew, as well as Dearbhla Walsh (Bad Sisters, Shining Vale) who also directed the pilot episode. Margo’s Got Money Troubles will premiere on April 15, 2026 on Apple TV.
Micay also continues to score HBO’s Industry, which has been renewed for a fifth and final season.
