WaterTower Music has released the main title theme song from the new HBO original series Rooster. Available to stream/download now on most major digital music services I Played the Fool co-written by R.E.M.’s Michael Stipe and record producer Andrew Watt (who is also scoring the show) and performed by Stipe. Also listen to the track after the jump. Rooster is created by Bill Lawrence & Matt Tarses and stars Steve Carell, Charly Clive, John C. McGinley, Danielle Deadwyler, Phil Dunster and Lauren Tsai. The comedy is premiering tonight on HBO and will also be available to stream on HBO Max.
