Adam Taylor (Before I Fall, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Riff Raff, The Right Stuff, Meadowland, Black Cake) is returning to score the upcoming Hulu original series The Testaments. The Handmaid’s Tale sequel is created by Bruce Miller (Eureka) based on Margaret Atwood’s novel of the same name name and stars Ann Dowd, Chase Infiniti, Lucy Halliday, Amy Seimetz, Mabel Li, Brad Alexander, Rowan Blanchard, Zarrin Darnell-Martin, Mattea Conforti, Eva Foote, Shechinah Mpumlwana, Isolde Ardies, Birva Pandya and Kira Guloien. The coming-of-age drama is set in Gilead and follows two young teens as they navigate the gilded halls of Aunt Lydia’s elite preparatory school for future wives. Miller also serves as the project’s showrunner and is executive producing the MGM Television & 20th Television production with Moss, Warren Littlefield (Fargo, Dopesick), Steve Stark (Wednesday, Medium), Shana Stein (Power), John Weber ( Star Trek: Discovery/Strange New World), Sheila Hockin (Vikings), Daniel Wilson, Maya Goldsmith, Fran Sears, as well as Mike Barker (A Good Woman, Best Laid Plans) who is also directing the first three episodes and finale. Taylor has previously scored all episodes of Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale and received his first two Emmy Award nominations for his score on the show in 2019 and 2021. The Testaments will premiere on April 8, 2026 on Hulu in the U.S. and on Disney+ in most major international markets.
