Jongnic Bontemps (Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, Boots, Redfall My Name Is Pauli Murray, 4400, Madea’s Destination Wedding, Wedding Season, United Skates, World’s Best) has composed the original score for the upcoming supernatural thriller The Gates. The film is written and directed by John Burr (Muse) and stars Mason Gooding, Algee Smith, Keith Powers and James Van Der Beek. The movie follows three college students on a road trip gone wrong, as the three young men take an ill-advised shortcut through a remote gated community, where they find themselves trapped behind the walls after witnessing a murder. Nancy Leopardi & Ross Kohn (Happily, Maggie Moore(s)) and Gary Glushon are producing the Indy Entertainment & Core 4 Films production. The Gates will be released in theaters on March 13, 2026 by Lionsgate.
