Maqueta Records has released a soundtrack album for the Italian coming-of-age drama Sharks (Squali). The album features the film’s original music is composed by Diana Tejera (My Poems Won’t Change the World). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s title track after the jump. Sharks is directed by Daniele Barbiero and stars Lorenzo Zurzolo, James Franco, Francesco Centorame, Ginevra Francesconi, Federica Baù, Greta Fernández, Gabriele Rollo and Francesco Gheghi. The movie is based on the novel Gli squali by Giacomo Mazzariol and follows a 19-year-old on the verge of his high school graduation exams whose plans for a celebratory summer trip are upended when receives an unexpected professional opportunity. The drama opened in Italian theaters last October. No word yet on a domestic release.
