Dubois Records has released a soundtrack album for the Germany comedy drama Oh, This Unspeakable Void (Ach, diese Lücke, diese entsetzliche Lücke). The album features the film’s original music composed by Segun Akinola (Doctor Who, Kingdom, Murder Is Easy, Stephen, Girl You Know It’s True, 9/11: Inside the President’s War Room, The Bayou, The Last Tree). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s title tracks below. Oh, This Unspeakable Void is written and directed by Simon Verhoeven and stars Bruno Alexander, Senta Berger, Michael Wittenborn, Laura Tonke, Devid Striesow, Anne Ratte-Polle, Katharina Stark and Johann von Bülow. The movie is based on the bestselling novel by Joachim Meyerhoff and follows the author as tries to find his place in the world when he unexpectedly gets accepted into the renowned drama school in Munich and moves in with his grandparents.The dramedy opened in German theaters last month. No word yet on a domestic release.
