Kris Bowers (The Wild Robot, Bridgerton, King Richard, Green Book, Haunted Mansion, Secret Invasion, Dear White People, The Color Purple, Space Jam: A New Legacy) and Michael Dean Parsons (Pain Hustlers, Gold & Greed: The Hunt for Fenn’s Treasure, Light & Magic, Sketchbook, Stan Lee, Obi-Wan Kenobi: A Jedi’s Return) are scoring the upcoming Prime Video original series Spider-Noir. The show is developed by Oren Uziel (22 Jump Street, The Lost City) & Steven Lightfoot (The Punisher, Hannibal) and stars Nicolas Cage, Lamorne Morris, Li Jun Li, Abraham Popoola, Karen Rodriguez, Jack Huston and Brendan Gleeson. The Sony Pictures Television production tells the story of Ben Reilly, a seasoned, down on his luck private investigator in 1930s New York, who is forced to grapple with his past life, following a deeply personal tragedy, as the city’s one and only superhero. Uziel, Lightfoot & Cage are also executive producing the project with Phil Lord & Christopher Miller (Project Hail Mary, Spider-Man: Into/Across the Spider-Verse), Amy Pascal (Spider-Man: Far from Home, Little Women), Aditya Sood (Cocaine Bear, Strays), Dan Shear and Pavlina Hatoupis (The Alienist, The First Lady). Harry Bradbeer (Fleabag, Enola Holmes) directed and executive produced the first two episodes. Spider-Noir will premiere this spring on Prime Video.
Bowers’ other recent projects include Sony Pictures Animation’s GOAT (to be released in theaters this Friday, February 13) and the fourth season of Netflix’s Bridgerton.
