Morgan Kibby (Grotesquerie, Mothering Sunday, The Watcher, Wilderness, The Power, Queens, Girls of the Sun, Grand Army, Tales of the Walking Dead) has been tapped to score the upcoming British romantic comedy Finding Emily. The film is directed by Alicia MacDonald and stars Angourie Rice, Spike Fearn and Minnie Driver. The movie follows a lovesick musician who is given the wrong number for his dream girl and teams up with a driven psychology student to find her. Rachel Hiron (Breaking Point, 2nd Date Sex) wrote the screenplay. Tim Bevan & Eric Fellner (Atonement, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy) are producing the Working Title Films production with Olivier Kaempfer (Polite Society). Finding Emily will open in UK theaters on May 22, 2026 and will be released in U.S. theaters on August 29 by Focus Features.
Kibby is also expected to return to co-score the second season of Hulu’s All’s Fair.
