Independent Project Records has released a soundtrack album for the documentary Louder Than You Think: A Lo-Fi History of Gary Young & Pavement. The album features the film’s original music composed by Noah Georgeson & Edward W. Dahl, several rare Pavement live tracks, as well as songs by Fall of Christianity, CRLLL & others. Rosenberg and chronicles the life of Gary Young, the original (and highly unlikely) drummer of indie rock royalty Pavement. The movie features archival footage and present-day scenes to chart his wild ride from lo-fi pioneer to aging survivor. The documentary, which premiered at the 2023 SXSW Film Festival, was released in select theaters and on VOD in late 2024 by Factory 25 and is now also available on Blu-ray.
