Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the Starz original series Spartacus: House of Ashur. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Joseph LoDuca (The Evil Dead, Xena: Warrior Princess, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Chucky, The Librarians, Leverage) who previously scored the original three Spartacus seasons, Blood and Sand, Vengeance & War of the Damned, as well as the prequel series Gods of the Arena . The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, February 6. Check back on this page for the streaming/download link. Spartacus: House of Ashur is developed by Steven S. DeKnight and stars Nick E. Tarabay, Graham McTavish, Jordi Webber, Tenika Davis, Jamaica Vaughan, Claudia Black, Ivana Baquero, Jackson Gallagher, India Shaw-Smith, Jaime Slater and Leigh Gill. The gladiator drama follows Ashur as he has clawed his way to power, owning the same ludus that once owned him, and flips tradition on its head by unleashing Achillia, a fierce gladiatrix eager to prove herself worthy in a man’s world. The series premiered over the last couple of weeks and the season finale will debut tomorrow on Starz.
