Elevator has released a soundtrack album for the Norwegian animated feature Rally from Paris to the Pyramids (Flaklypa – Fra Paris til pyramidene). The album features the film’s original score composed by Ola Kvernberg (Nord, Welcome to Norway, Chasing the Wind, Venus). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s first track (Let’s Go) after the jump. Rally from Paris to the Pyramids is directed by Rasmus A. Sivertsen and tells the story of a brilliant but eccentric inventor, and his two unlikely friends – a daring magpie and a timid hedgehog – as they attempt to redeem themselves by competing in the legendary Paris-to-the-Pyramids rally. The animated movie opened in Norwegian theaters last month and is set to be released in other international markets later this year. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
