Jeff Cardoni (Silicon Valley, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates, The Kominsky Method, White House Plumbers, CSI: Miami, Heels, The Franchise, Just Friends) is the composer of the new Netflix original series Free Bert. The show is created by Bert Kreischer, Jarrad Paul & Andy Mogel (Yes Man, The D Train) and stars Kreischer himself, alongside Arden Myrin, Ava Ryan, Lilou Lang,Mandell Maughan, Christine Horn, Chris Witaske, Sophia Reid-Gantzert, Robert Jon Mello, Matthew Del Negro, Braxton Alexander and Noshir Dalal. The comedy revolves around a gloriously messy dad and his equally unfiltered family who cause chaos when they try to fit in with the snobby crowd at their elite new school. Kreischer, Paul & Mogel serve as the showrunners and are also executive producing the project with LeeAnn Kreischer (The Machine), Tony Hernandez & Lilly Burns (Emily in Paris, Russian Doll), Elise Henderson and Judi Marmel (Leanne, Bookie). Cardini has previously collaborated with Paul & Mogel on The Grinder and Huge in France. Free Bert will premiere next Thursday, January 22 exclusively on Netflix.
Cardoni’s recent projects also include Fox’s Best Medicine, which just premiered last week and also continues to score CBS’ Ghosts, which currently airs its fifth season every Thursday night, as well as Netflix’s Ransom Canyon, which has been renewed for a second season.
