Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album for the Italian Netflix limited series Mrs Playmen. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Santi Pulvirenti (The Last Night of Amore, The Mafia Only Kills in Summer, Still Life, Bang Bang Baby). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s title track below. Mrs Playmen is directed by Riccardo Donna, developed by head writer Mario Ruggeri and stars Carolina Crescentini, Filippo Nigro, Giuseppe Maggio, Francesco Colella, Francesca Colucci, Domenico Diele, Giampiero Judica, Cecilia Dazzi, Marco Rossetti and Lidia Vitale. The 7-part drama inspired by true events tells the story of a woman – betrayed by her husband – who must step up and run an erotic magazine that becomes a symbol of empowerment in ’70s Rome. The series just premiered this past Wednesday and is now available to stream on Netflix.
