Tim Phillips (Bad Sisters, Becoming ElizabethShameless) is scoring the new NBC comedy Stumble. The show is created by Jeff Astrof & Liz Astrof (Trials & Error) and stars Jenn Lyon, Taran Killam, Ryan Pinkston, Anissa Borrego, Jarrett Austin Brown, Taylor Dunbar, Arianna Davis and Georgie Murphy. The series follows an elite cheerleading coach who has her life flipped upside down when she’s forced to start over with a new squad of lovable misfits, but to win the championship, they have no choice but to kick it into high cheer. The creators are also executive producing the Universal Television production with Dana Honor (A Million Little Things, The Unicorn), Monica Aldama, as well as Jeffrey Blitz (Table 19, Rocket Science) who also directed the pilot episode. Phillips has previously collaborated with Jeff & Liz Astrof on Starz’s Shining Vale. Stumble is premiering tonight on NBC and will also be available to stream on Peacock.
