Walt Disney Records will release nine new soundtracks for the third volume of Lucasfilm’s Disney+ animated short film series Star Wars: Visions. Titles include The Duel: Payback (animated by Kamikaze Douga + ANIMA) feat. music by Keiji Inai (who previously scored the original The Duel episode), The Song of Four Wings (animated by Project Studio Q) feat. original score by Towa Tei (Super Crooks, Metallic Rouge), The Ninth Jedi: Child of Hope (animated by Production I.G) feat. music by Yugo Kanno (Psycho Pass, Batman Ninja, PLUTO, Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness), The Bounty Hunters (animated by WIT STUDIO) feat. score by Taisei Iwasaki (Belle, Bullet Train Explosion, First Love) & Ludvig Forssell (Death Stranding, Boy Kills World, P.T.) and Yuko’s Treasure (animated by Kinema citrus Co.) feat. original score by Takashi Ohmama (Asakus Kid). The other titles are The Lost Ones (animated by Kinema citrus Co.) feat. music by Kevin Penkin (Tower of God, Eden, Made in Abyss), The Smuggler (animated by TRIGGER) feat. original score by Michiru Oshima (Star Wars Vision: The Twins & The Elder, T P Bon, The Tatami Galaxy), The Bird of Paradise (animated by Polygon Pictures) feat. music by Shuji Katayama (Overlord, Gamera: Rebirth) and BLACK (animated by David production) feat. the original song Two of Me by singer/songwriter Sakura Fujiwara. All nine soundtracks will be released digitally tomorrow, October 31. The label has previously released the soundtracks for all episodes of both Volume 1 and Volume 2. The third season of Star Wars: Visions produced by nine international animation studios premiered yesterday and is now available to stream on Disney+.
