Lorenz Dangel (September 5, The German Lesson, What Will People Say, The Colony, A Fortunate Man, Hell, The Robber) has composed the original music for the upcoming supernatural thriller The Carpenter’s Son. The film is written and directed by Lotfy Nathan (Harka, 12 O’Clock Boys) and stars Nicolas Cage, Noah Jupe, Isla Johnston, Souheila A. Yacoub and FKA twigs. Peter Hinderthür (The Baader Meinhof Complex, Schumacher, Stella. A Life., You Will Not Have My Hate) has provided additional music to the movie, which is set in a remote village in Roman-era Egypt that explodes into spiritual warfare when a carpenter, his wife and their child are targeted by supernatural forces. Cage is also producing the project with Julie Viez (Bonjour Tristesse), Alex Hughes (How to Blow Up a Pipeline), Riccardo Maddalosso ( The Code) and Eugene Kotlyarenko (Magic Farm). The Carpenter’s Son will be released in theaters on November 14, 2025 by Magnolia Pictures.
