Ocean Avenue Entertainment has released a soundtrack album for the faith-based animated feature Light of the World. The album features the film’s original score composed by Alex McKenzie. Also included is the title song by Shane & Shane. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download in select digital music stores. A vinyl edition will be released in the coming weeks and is available to order on Amazon. Listen to a score track and the song after the jump. Light of the World is directed by John J. Schafer & Tom Bancroft and features the voices of Benjamin Jacobson, Ian Hanlin, Vincent Tong, Michael Benyae, Peter New and David Kaye. The movie tells the story of Jesus, from the beginning of his ministry through his crucifixion and resurrection, through the eyes of his young friend, the Apostle John. The animated drama is being released in theaters nationwide this weekend by Salvation Poem Project.
