Parkside Studios has released a soundtrack album for the documentary Girl Climber. The album features the film’s original score composed by Emmy Award nominee Mark Crawford (The Social Dilemma, Full Circle, Greener Pastures). Also included is the the original song Place on the Wall (co-written with Crawford and performed by MILCK), which has previously been released as a digital single. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Also listen to the first two score tracks after the jump. Girl Climber is directed by Jon Glassberg and centers on professional climber Emily Harrington as she takes on her greatest challenge when she sets her sights on a career-defining 24-hour ascent of Yosemite’s El Capitan to cement her legacy in the male dominated world of elite rock climbing. The movie premiered at this year’s Telluride Mountainfilm Festival and will be released as a “one night only” event in select IMAX theaters this coming Sunday, August 24.
